These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lakebound Marine website at lakeboundtn.com and the products and services we provide. By using this website, requesting a quote, or having work performed by us, you agree to these Terms.

Lakebound Marine is a trade name of Kaleb Loren Traister, a sole proprietorship based in Lenoir City, Tennessee. Lakebound Marine is referred to here as "we," "us," or "our."

What We Do

Lakebound Marine supplies and installs custom GatorStep boat flooring. Our process is: we photograph and measure your boat and build a digital template using photogrammetry; you review and approve an art proof showing the layout, colors, and any lettering or logos for your specific boat; the kit is then CNC-cut and installed on your boat. Every kit is made to fit one particular vessel.

We are based in the Knoxville, Tennessee area, cut kits in Lenoir City, Tennessee, and serve boaters on Tellico, Fort Loudoun, Watts Bar, and Norris lakes.

Quotes and Estimates

Quotes are free and are based on the specific boat, the coverage requested, and the design selected. A quote is an estimate for the work described in it. If the condition of the boat or the scope of the work turns out to be different from what the quote was based on, we will discuss any change with you before doing additional work.

Art Proof Approval and Custom Work

Because every kit is cut to a specific boat and to a design you approve, the art proof is the point at which the design becomes final. Please review your proof carefully — layout, color, orientation, and the exact spelling of any lettering or boat name. Once you approve the proof and the material is cut, the kit cannot be reused on another boat and is not returnable or exchangeable.

Scheduling, Access, and Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about your boat and to give us safe and reasonable access to it at the agreed time and place. Please have the areas to be worked on clear of personal belongings, gear, and debris before we arrive. We are not responsible for personal property left on or in the boat.

Most installations are completed in a few hours. Timelines given with a quote are estimates and can be affected by weather, lake conditions, material availability, and scheduling.

Payment

Payment terms — including any deposit required before fabrication begins, when the balance is due, and the methods of payment we accept — are set out in your written quote or invoice.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as you can. Once an art proof has been approved and material has been cut, the cost of that material and labor has already been incurred and cannot be recovered. Any cancellation or rescheduling terms that apply to your job are set out in your written quote or invoice.

Website Content

The content on this website, including photographs of completed installations, text, and layout, belongs to Lakebound Marine or is used with permission. You may not reproduce it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Photographs show previous work and are illustrative; the appearance of your finished kit depends on your boat, the design you approve, and the materials selected.

SMS/Text Messaging Terms

Program description. Lakebound Marine operates an SMS/text message program for people who request a boat flooring quote. If you check the SMS consent box on a quote form on this website, you are opting in to receive text messages from Lakebound Marine at the mobile number you provided. Those messages may include quote follow-ups, appointment scheduling and reminders, and install status updates from Lakebound Marine.

Age requirement. You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Agreeing to receive text messages is not required to request a quote, to purchase anything, or to receive any service from us. You may submit a quote form without checking the box and we will contact you by phone or email instead.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies.

Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and getting help. You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send further text messages unless you opt in again. Delivery. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier's network. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile information. No mobile information will be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of the products and services we provide is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of use of the boat or lost time on the water. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the one that applies, and we will update the "Last updated" date when we change it.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the work we perform will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Loudon County, Tennessee.
